Learn the art of tea, firsthand. From knowing how to pick the buds to factory tours, being a part of the tea community and even making your own blend to take home. In addition, there is a cultural experience and white water rafting if tea gets too much for you.
The charm of an Elephant orphanage, scrumptious traditional High Teas, days of learning the true art of tea - tea plucking, tea tour, factory visit, temple of the tooth relic, cultural show, Sri Lankan cooking, adventure activities, botanical gardens, ‘be a tea plucker for a day’ lifestyle, white water rafting, leisure on the beach.
Day 01 - AIRPORT / PINNAWELA / KANDY
You will be met and assisted by a Representative of Invite Holidays
and transferred to Madul Kelle in Kandy. En-route, visit the Pinnawala
Elephant Orphanage. (Enjoy high tea between 3 - 6 pm on all three
days)
Dinner and overnight stay at Madulkelle Tea & Eco Lodge
Day 02 - 03 - KANDY
After breakfast, experience the art of tea plucking along with
a tour of the plantation and factory visit. In the evening, visit
the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy and enjoy a Cultural Dance Performance.

Day 04 - KANDY
After breakfast, embark on a half day trek with a naturalist. Afterwards,
learn the art of Sri Lankan style cooking with organic vegetables,
or for the more daring, engage in an adventure sport activity.

Day 05 - KANDY / DICK OYA
After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Thereafter,
transfer to Dick Oya. Late evening, enjoy a Sri Lankan style BBQ
dinner.
Overnight at Mandira Bungalow
Day 06 - DICK OYA
After breakfast, enjoy a whole day a tea plantation. Be a part
of the local community by being a tea plucker for a day. Learn the
art of plucking, take the leaves to the factory to witness the process
of making tea and take your harvest home.

Day 07 - DICK OYA / BEACH HOTEL
After breakfast, you will be transferred to a beach hotel. Enjoy
whitewater rafting at Kitulgala en-route (optional).

Day 08 - BEACH HOTEL / AIRPORT
After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.
